Locum Dentist — 6 to 12 week placements
Alice Springs Community Dental — Alice Springs, Northern Territory
We run rolling locum placements to keep our chairs staffed between permanent appointments. Placements are six to twelve weeks, and clinicians frequently come back.
The clinical work is broad and often urgent: extractions, restorative, acute pain management, and dentures. Roughly one week in four involves travel to a remote community clinic, working from a portable setup with an assistant. It is demanding dentistry and the patient need is real.
This is public sector work, so there are no sales targets and no cosmetic caseload. Cultural safety training is provided in your first week and is not optional.
