How same-day cover works here
The same premise as the rest of the board: no blind ads, no hidden numbers, no middle layer. A practice down a nurse at 7:40am should be able to dial someone by 7:42.
You ring the person, not an agency
Every row carries a mobile number and an email address. There is no booking fee, no margin and nobody deciding who hears about the shift first.
Notice is stated, not negotiated
Each person publishes how long they need before they can start — ready now, one hour, two, three. Plan the chair around the number you see.
Registrations are confirmed by phone
Nothing appears here until we have spoken to the person, because the listing carries a number a stranger will call. Unconfirmed registrations stay hidden.
The roster clears itself
Day registrations drop off at midnight. Staff who work most weekdays sit on the standing roster and can be called any morning.
