Oral Health Therapist — child and adolescent focus

Redcliffe Bay Dental Redcliffe, Queensland

$92k–$104kListed last week334 views

Roughly 40% of our patients are under eighteen, and we would rather have a therapist who genuinely enjoys that work than a general dentist who tolerates it.

The role covers examinations, preventive care, fissure sealants, restorative work within OHT scope, and adolescent periodontal care. Two mornings a fortnight you would work with our outreach programme at three local primary schools, which we run in partnership with the school nurses.

We are a Smile Squad and CDBS provider and the administrative side of that is handled entirely by our front office team — you will not be chasing claim codes.

What the practice needs

  • AHPRA registration as an oral health therapist
  • Genuine interest in paediatric and adolescent care
  • Current Queensland Blue Card, or eligibility to obtain one
  • Driver licence for the outreach sessions

What you get

  • $92,000-$104,000 plus superannuation
  • All registration, indemnity, and Blue Card costs paid
  • Five days of paid CPD leave on top of annual leave
  • Outreach sessions counted as normal paid hours
  • Structured mentoring from the two principals

About the practice

A family practice on the Redcliffe peninsula with six chairs and a large Child Dental Benefits Schedule caseload.
